If I'm not mistaken, the last time I skated was over two years ago, before I moved cities. https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/xlety/Eoc7wxBumjzjn2q1mCY5wgv62zARLGr2wui2G9J6zgpuKragDvSgW6BwfjLbY9rcZsM.png This time, I headed to the campus of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. And it was so nostalgic. That's exactly where I learned to skate when I was just a little kid (the photo doesn't lie). I remember, when I was barely 7, almost every weekend, my grandma would take me there, and I'd skate for hours. It was a blast. A big chunk of my pre-teen and teen years, I kept on skating, but as adulting kicked in, that habit kinda took a backseat. In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic hit. I got infected, got really weak, almost died. After I recovered, I decided it was time to get back to doing things I loved and had put on hold for a while. Roller skating was one of them.
