Hey Skatehive! I’m Lincoln Mukasa, also known as Lincoln11 on Skatehive. I’ve been around for a while, but I wanted to officially introduce myself to the community. I’m part of the skateboarding culture in Uganda, East Africa, and a member of the Kampala Skateboard Initiative. My skate journey started late in school when my friends—who were always talking about skating—got me curious. I used to hang out with them, casually trying out the board, learning to balance, and eventually, I got hooked. Before skateboarding, I was into other sports like boxing, where I had my fair share of victories in the ring. But skating is different—it’s not just a sport; it’s a community. It has taught me patience and the step-by-step process of learning—something I now apply to everything in life. Nothing comes all at once; it’s all about progress. Through the Kampala Skateboard Initiative, I’ve had the chance to guide kids in workshops and life skills, helping them grow both on and off the board. While M
